President Obama, Please EO protect Salt River, the State Park and the ajoining Reservation

President Obama, VP Biden and even some Republicans like McCain have stepped in to help. Other more local Rs got roundly boo ed at the last meeting because they have so many issues with the Federal Gov. they try to prevent the State gov working with the Federal gov. President Obama by EO has given protection to several wonderful parks and historic sites recently. The Salt River area covered for the past 17 years by the Salt River Wild Horse Management Group, is an area worthy of EO Protection. The ajoining Indian Reservation is in full agreement and also wants these wild horses protected.


- We have a lawsuit against the US Forest Service. We are in negotiations with the US Forest Service about that lawsuit. These negotiations are utmost confidential and sensitive and we cannot risk that confidentiality.

- We have 120 days for those negotiations. 120 days will be over before you know it and we have a lot of work to do. Please know beyond a doubt that the Salt River Wild Horses are NOT safe. We still need all of your calls and emails and support especially now.

- We are fighting to keep the Salt River Wild Horses on the Salt River where they have evolved and where they belong. We will work with anyone who stands for that same purpose. We will also work with other interested parties and stakeholders. http://www.saltriverwildhorsemanagementgroup.org/
