Gov. Walker on President Obama's 3 Day Visit to Alaska: 'We’ll have plenty to talk about'

On Friday night, Walker’s office announced he’ll accompany President Barak Obama in Air Force One as it travels from Washington, D.C., to Alaska on Monday.

Whether on that flight or in the days to follow, Walker said he’s confident he’ll get a chance to talk to the president one-on-one. In an interview Saturday, we asked Gov. Walker what was high on his list of things to discuss and for his thoughts on Obama’s visit, which is expected to include stops in Anchorage, Seward, Dillingham and Kotzebue.

Are you looking forward to it personally?

Very much.

It’s going to be a busy couple days.

It’ll be a very busy couple days. I’m honored to be governor of Alaska at the time a sitting president comes to Alaska. You bet.

Here is the whole interview

Our Republican turned Independent governor is kinda cool. Wish we had more caring and rational people like him in the Republican party.

As you can see from this special section and numerous articles, Alaskans are pretty excited about this visit from President Obama

I believe the purpose of this trip is to highlight global warming.

Lower 48ers might see some excellent scenery this week, watch for President Obama's trip to Exit Glacier in Seward.

I doubt he wants to see her though, he's not even talking to Don young, Lisa Murkowski or the new Koch clone Dan Sullivan.

(which under the new tax structure which has us paying oil companies to take our oil(seriously), it would actually cost the state 9 Billion in tax credits)

Just one more thing before I go,
There’s something, Uncle, you should know.
The line’s been crossed, we’ve had enough.
You shouldn’t really call our bluff.

Cause we Alaskans might seem sweet.
But chances are we’re packing heat.

Please kick this post so that the secret service might see it before he arrives.

These idiots think they are funny but that was not cool, and seems illegal, something one of us would get a visit from the FBI for saying.

Now that's hilarious. Alaska's congressional delegation didn't receive an invitation or acknowledgment byPresident Barack Obama, but Alaska Natives did. Classy, classy Mr. President.
