Ensure Your Vote Counts

One of the simplest ways to ensure your vote counts on the voting machines is to take a pic of your vote tally summary screen on your smart phone for future reference. This way you have a record and you're using your own technology against theirs. Maybe we can stop the election fraud bs in its tracks if enough of us do this in the primaries and 2016. Thanks to Cal33 for suggesting I post this idea separately for more views (I'd link to the thread but still new and learning).

Of course, YMMV from state to state. I had no issues doing it in Spring, TX and even though the link states it's a misdemeanor to do it here I personally will take the chance of being charged with a misdemeanor if ever "caught". I think it's more important to commit an act of civil disobedience than let TPTB flip my vote.

8. Nadin in Reply #5 just informed that taking pics. in voting booths is not allowed in some states.

It is unfortunate, but not hopeless even in these states, since this ruling may be challenged
(on 1st Amendment grounds).

As for the other states, how does one proceed with the matter if one suspects them of having
committed vote fraud? Do all those picture-takers band together and demand a recount
to see whether or not any of them have been "miscounted?" They have the evidence of how
they had voted with them.

The above also supposes that a group has already been formed functioning as a headquarters
where all parties interested in picture-taking have already registered and may be contacted to
show up with their pictures when needed.

I can see a good deal of preparation for unexpected eventualities is needed.

10. LocaL activists have organized themselves onto observer teams

and they are also going over a percentage of the vote. Laws will let you do this or not. But that is the first step. You need to find what are the local laws, and find people willing to go through the effort.

12. I guess more of the red states would be having these laws than the blue ones. And it is

exactly the red states that need the most watching and challenging and dealing with
the vote and election frauds.

I live in a blue state...the reindeer games at local elections can be something else.

15. Don't like the idea itself but I applaud you for thinking about the problem.

It ( the potential for massive, 21st century, technologically-enhanced voting fraud) is imo, very real.

Frankly, I think there's an easier way: take the computers OUT of it altogether and go back to paper and pencil ballot, followed by an open, public hand count.

on taking computer voting out of the equation altogether. However, unless and until that happens this is the easiest way I could think of that would possibly stop election fraud if enough of us do it. Heck, I'd even go further and bring back the old lever machines my parents used to use if it were up to me
