Looks very nervous and confused, but in fairness to him the ReTHUGs did select the one quote that suits them. I still think he's an asshole.

That was just my initial impression without knowing much about the man, beyond what I have seen and read. He's young, and strikes me as a little too eager to prove he's ready for the big leagues.

Perhaps you are more familiar with his history.

Now if he had said this initially I wouldn't have a big problem with him but as it is, he's just spinning.

Also, Rachel sure is doing her best to save him.

He sure doesn't want to swallow any of that humble pie, and is doing everything he can to avoid a mea culpa.

I didn't really think she would, of course. No hard questions at all, and plenty of openings to redeem himself.

She just let him go on and on and she never challenged him regarding the money he's gotten from Bain. Even her intro paved the way for him to avoid responsibility for his statements on MTP.

as we hoped he would be. He's a smart guy but he's no Barrack Obama. I think Booker, despite being a democrat, is coming from that Bruce Willis wanna-be, machismo strain of Jerseyite. The kind that believes acting decisive and confident is a replacement for actual intelligence and good political judgement.

All I can say is ~ Would I rather he come out talking about Obama in a positive way and say "I'm sorry" at least 10 times or be in Mitt's pocket.

Whoever pulled his strings, they were pulled for that interview in favor of support for Obama.

I don't know who talked to him but they set him straight.

The last thing we need is for him to get so mad that he joins the Rethugs.

He may have taken some money from the Rethugs to make his remarks the other day but TODAY ---- he was like a little boy that had been taken to the woodshed by his father and had the crap beat out of him.

I always thought he was a fake as I watched him many times on MJ Scar and other shows. Then he did the Christie video and everything I had been saying to friends about him became even more clear.

I have always said he was a fake just as I always said Edwards was/is..

I think Rachel is going out of her way to defend her fellow alumnus. She ended her show by fervently defending Cory. I still need her to ask him about his ties to Bain, but I guess I won't get my answer tonight.

He failed miserably trying to save his own ass.

I love Rachel, but this was an obvious attempt to save a friend, nothing else - bah.
