Wow! Chris Hayes just flambeed Kim Davis' attorney.

What a segment. He conducted a very legalistic questioning of him. Very detailed and intricate. Guy never answered the questions including one about how the case is being funded on her behalf. Staver actually got pissed off. Chris ended up cutting him off at the end. I have to find the video because I cannot adequately summarize the exchange. What an amazing exchange. I hope someone else saw that.

Because laws never change and if they do, you get grandfathered in from following the law as government official.

Sorta like if you were the registrar in 1919, you could get away with not counting the votes of women in 1920, because women couldn't vote when you took office.

Or a school superintendent saying he took office before the end of segregation, so all the schools in his district get to remain segregated.

that she told him while she was running for office that she assumed this question would come up this year. So that is a bullshit lie.

then he never answered any questions. I was curious how much money they got in their defense fund for this case, but again no answer. Instead he would just go off about something else. What an idiot!

I loved the way that the attorney refused to answer the question about whether this legal group is fundraising off of Davis. It is clear that they are.

What a bully. Bulldozer.

My client has a right to her conscience and wants to be a bigot, so you have to let
her be a bigot because of her conscience.

Oh, and by the way nobody better ever change the law about ANYTHING while my client is in her job,
because, you know her conscience won't let her do the job if you change it to something she doesn't
like.

So. Queen Kim. Huh.

I hope she rots in jail. And frankly, I hope if this guy gets in front of the judge again he says something
stupid and the judge finds him in contempt and sends him off to jail, too.
