Republican Presidential Hopefuls Counting on Minority Voters

GOP Primary POTUS Candidates Focus on the Minority Vote to Win

by
Wright Wenger

Taking a closer look at the broad and motley GOP presidential primary field, one thing is very clear. To a man (and one woman), all of the candidates are extensively targeting minority voters in a bid to build a winning constituency that will lead to the 2016 nomination. They appear to all agree that getting the minority vote is crucial for success.

Clearly, unless the minority voters turn out and cast their votes in all 50 state primaries and caucuses, none of them have a chance. With Donald Trump currently in the lead in this deep, dank pool of candidates, the competition for minority voters is fierce. The dialog has become more and more intense and more and more bitter as each candidate attempts to outdo the rest.

It's not just one minority bloc that is being courted, either. From the legendary Teabaggers and survivalist Preppers to fundamentalist evangelical Christians, men's rights advocates and firearms-toting frightened folks in every state, they're seeking the approval of even minorities of minorities. Each candidate is proposing programs and positions that appeal directly to forgotten, ignored and disregarded minority groups. Even the most hated groups are being courted actively. Every misbegotten racist group and secessionist splinter cabal is highly sought after.

From building high walls on our borders and repealing marriage equality SCOTUS decisions to repealing the Affordable Care Act, every statement made by every candidate target one or more of these elusive minority blocs of voters. Anti-immigrant speeches and diatribes against poor people have escalated as the campaigns progress. How far will they go? That remains to be seen.

Who will emerge victorious and attain the pinnacle of the GOP nomination? It's too early to say, but it all depends on getting minority voters out to the caucuses and primaries. Minorities are the key to success for 2016. We'll be reporting on this for several month, leading up to the eventual disastrous General Election in 2016 for Republicans.

the basket where the GOP have thrown all their racist and relgious extremist eggs into.

By alienating actual minorities in order to get out the vote of the racist and ultraorthodox Christian minorities they hope to sweep themselves into power.

It is the "Southern strategy" on steroids.

But I think they are only sweeping themselves into the dustbin of history....let them please proceed.

Any one of those knuckle-dragging cave orcs other than Carson will be lucky to get 5% support from non-white voters.
