Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump has repeatedly expressed admiration for New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and the feeling may be mutual.
Tom wants to make American great again, Barstool Sports writer John Feitelberg tweeted Saturday alongside an image of what is apparently Bradys locker. Inside it is a red baseball cap with Trumps campaign slogan.
Trump has repeatedly appeared in public wearing a similar hat.
The outspoken billionaire lauded Brady this week after a federal judge overturned the NFLs four-game suspension of Brady.
Congrats to Tom Brady on yet another great victory, Trump tweeted Thursday. Tom is my friend and a total winner!

(14,449 posts)A hat that two people own doesn't really prove anything. Is that trump's official campaign hat that he's selling on the Internet?

Made three trips to the White House when Bush was there but somehow managed to avoid the latest trip to the Obama White House with some story about his parents anniversary.
Now the Trump hat.....
Face it. Tommy's a right-wing frat boy.
Then again, if you believe a ballboy's nickname is "The Deflater" because he's trying to lose weight and it's just coincidence he likes to smuggle balls into the bathroom.....circumstantial evidence means nothing I guess.

(16,399 posts)Look, Tom has shown he's comfortable bending the truth. The guy managed to say with a straight face he's never thought about PSI while petitioning the league in 2007 to be allowed to break in the tactile surface of the ball
Besides, Donald's not really a bad guy, right?

(14,449 posts)And Donald I don't think about at all. A hat question is saying nothing about Donald but is that his hat? I doubt I'd support a candidate because of a hat and that includes Bernie and Hillary. They better have more to say on issues then a hat. I am for Hillary no doubt our next president of the United States of America!

Funny, because 20 years ago the Patriots were a complete afterthought. I don't know where all these people sprung from.

(9,527 posts)Sure he had to cheat to get those "wins", but the NFL isn't going to Lance Armstrong him and strip the Patriots of the titles they don't deserve.

(32,025 posts)I wonder how far into it the average person would get, maybe page 2. In all positions in the NFL intelligence is needed to know the plays and know the plays of the other side. The quarterback most of all because he is coordinating everything.

(6,930 posts)Some are more intelligent than others. Some are dumb as a box of rocks. Many had to be "tutored" through college and many would not have made it through high school if they were not athletic stars. I actually tutored football players when I was in college. Most could not do some of the most simple math and their English skills were just abysmal. This is not any kind of new news. Huge academic scandal at UNC recently that you may have heard about.

Pause quickly at 3 to 4 seconds in. Tom walking toward locker to be interviewed by WBZ TV's Steve Burton. Same bay in locker has white items in it, not red doofus hat.

(47,953 posts)The guy who took the pic is a hard core Brady supporter. No denial from Brady either. While it could be a photoshop, it also could have been taken at a different time. Brady and Trump do seem to be fans of each other.

I happen to think Cheers and Fraiser were very clever shows with good writing. That doesn't mean I'd ever take my political cues from the likes of Kelsey Grammar!
I wouldn't take monetary advice, marital advice, or child rearing advice from Tom Brady either. If I want to watch some football, though, he's the home town hero and the TV is right handy. Those stadium seats are too rich for my blood.
