Mary Landrieu Open to Donating Leftover Campaign Funds to Republicans

She recently hosted a fundraiser in New Orleans for Democratic Sens. Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota, whose seat is up in 2018, and Ron Wyden of Oregon, who is up for re-election next year.

Landrieu said she also will contribute some leftover campaign money to Republicans.

“I’m not opposed to helping one or two of my Republican friends that have helped Louisiana — if they ask,’’ Landrieu said. “They haven’t asked yet.’’

She specifically named Rob Portman of Ohio, who is up for re-election next year, and Susan Collins of Maine, who is up in 2020.

You know, it's been such a tough time lately in the Alberta Oil Patch, and I know her heart just bleeds for her buds in the sector.

Yup she is the type of 'Democrat" one can really count on.

Perhaps she should leave the Democratic Party and Join her ideological brothers and sisters in the Republican Party where she will be much happier.

You were so proud that you did your part to help elect the Republican.

How you liking Bill Cassidy? He's a big improvement over Landrieu, eh?

Sounds like she hasn't yet, but if she does the Democratic Party should oppose her running for the Senate again.

Roemer is a former governor down there who flip-flopped while in office.

Susan Collins has made the difference in passing progressive legislation more than once. If ever there was a republican worthy of support she would be it
