(20,888 posts)A man that raises taxes and pretends he didn't. A man that stared down gay marriage and said let's just be friends. A man that saw anchor babies and said I can do that too. A man that is a man and doesn't wear a dress while along dreaming about Ty Cobb. I think. He does things for America. Good things. Good Christian things like hate abortion and women. And in no way does he come off as a short sighted weasel that took one of the least functional states and somehow made it even less functional. You might want to edit out the last part.

(180 posts)in Infinite Jest. Actually, David Foster Wallace's father and George Will's father both taught philosophy at the University of Illinois. That's probably where David Foster Wallace got the idea of Hal Incandenza memorizing the Oxford English Dictionary.
