Scott Walker, Who Said Presidential Bid Was 'God's Plan,' Drops OutSUBMITTED BY Brian Tashman on Monday, 9/21/2015 5:00 pm
"My relationship with God drives every major decision in my life. Each day I pray and then take time to read from the Bible and from a devotional named Jesus Calling.
As you can imagine, the months leading up to my announcement that I would run for President of the United States were filled with a lot of prayer and soul searching.
Heres why: I needed to be certain that running was Gods calling -- not just mans calling. I am certain: This is Gods plan for me and I am humbled to be a candidate for President of the United States"

(16,254 posts)Sure seems that way.
Does He do it while they are sleeping? Has any of them mentioned what His voice sounds like and if it is in English? (I guess Palin gets the message in American?)
Does He only speak to Republicans and evangelists? That's discrimination and should be scorned. But then, Republicans don't know from discrimination, or at least don't want to stop practicing it.
Personally, I think God has been entertaining Himself with a lot of practical joking of late. Look at the Clown Car. They even have to have a Kid's Table for debates. How ROTFL is that? Some never graduated to the Big Boy's Table and probably never will.
Oh, well! I'm out of popcorn...gotta run to the grocery.

(24,041 posts)...before he dropped out of Marquette? How's this for an interesting spin on why his campaign tanked -
"'While I was sitting in church yesterday, the pastor's words reminded me that the Bible is full of stories about people who were called to be leaders in unusual ways,' Walker told reporters. 'Today, I believe that I am being called to lead by helping to clear the race so that a positive conservative message can rise to the top of the field. With that in mind, I will suspend my campaign immediately.'"

(3,660 posts)Guess he disn't have the chops to snow a national audience as well as he did a state one, especially having to compete for attention with the insane clown car posse.

(53,410 posts)'cause God hates unions. I'm not sure why. Maybe it's the brother and sisterhood and the watching out for each other and the fight for equality that God hates. We don't know, but God hates unions. It's not ours to ask why....
