This story is a little convoluted. One of the candidates for Baltimore mayor was also eyeing Cummings' seat. He recently said he is no longer seeking that seat because Cummings said he isn't going to Run for Mikulski's seat. The Cummings camp has made no comment one way or another on the guy's statement.

Cummings has always been a pretty good liberal. I could imagine him in Bernie's cabinet.
