A thought about Twitter

It seems to me that Twitter enables foot in mouth syndrome and gets a lot of folks in hot water. Politicians tweet things without running it past their campaign managers. Now there is this uproar over tweets from a soap actress who criticized Viola Davis' speech at the Emmy's. There have been articles today with the vapid and embarrassing tweets of Scott "I'm going to Kohl's today" Walker.

I really don't get the point of it.

If that opinion is not shared with majority of population then it disappears. We see this often. Walker basically tweeted what many ordinary citizens tweet everyday along with a picture of their dinner for the night. A tool is all it is.
