2. I am tickled to see alleged Christians, such as the entire teaparty, come out against a Pope

because he wants to do liberal things like feed the poor and protect the very air and water we need to live.

NO wonder they hate him

Oh, and as to Trump.

You know my theory?

Remember Bill and he met?

I think donald realized the clown car could end all life on the planet but at a minimum would make our upside down economic situation even worse, and he doesnt want to be a rich man surrounded by very poor and very very angry peasants, so...

He and Bill schemed up the following: Run to the far right teaparty, show hate and intolerance, thus making the teaparty love him, then at some point break away and run as an independent thus guaranteeing Hillary the WH, or Bernie, etc.

4. On the other hand, watching Democrats lavish praise on an anti gay activist and anti choice crusader

is not all that pleasant either. Watching this display I see how shallow the support for LGBT rights is in this Party and on DU. By not objecting to the anti gay crap, you all endorse it.
All bets are now off. All trust is burned to the ground.

5. Anytime I give credit to the pope I also mention his being wrong on the Gay issue

If you know the church, the history, as I do, as a catholic, you know that as bad as he remains on that issue, he has grown or grown the church tremendously

i am an atheist so I am only looking at it from a statistical viewpoint

my pointing out how good he is on certain issues and also pointing out how bad he is on Gay issues doesnt take one iota of credibility from me as to my support to the LGBT community

that one post is a rare occasion where I dont point out his problem with Gay

I forgot to do it this one time...i will not apologize for doing it a hundred times and forgetting once

6. Trump's not that altruistic.

Nor is he that smart.

I think he liked talking to Bill because Bill was once the most powerful man in the world and associating with him, even through a simple phone call, feeds his ego.

stolen wealth (I say stolen, not sure what to call it when you beat up old people to force them out of their homes and that is how you made your fortune) if everybody around him is poor.

He doesnt give one shit about anyone else, but he is logical enough to know.

Also, he supports taxing the rich.

9. He says he supports taxing the rich. He also says the Bible is his favorite book.

Frankly, I don't believe either claim. He's playing left-leaning independents like he's playing the far right.

He's an impulsive, simple, ego driven personality who's incapable of looking to the long term for success. Which explains the four bankruptcies.

It sort of makes sense when you think about who Trump supported before running and his self-described "evolution" on abortion.

And when that ugly orange orantung appears on MSNBC I'll be switching the channel.
