What will President Obama do after his term is over?

I know he's moving to Oahu, I know he will need time to rest and relax. He deserves it. He needs to spend time
with his family, time to bodysurf. But Obama is a political guy. At some point he will get involved and his influence
will be huge. I can't see him doing the Bill Clinton thing, hanging with McCain or Romney. He will be actively
involved somehow.
As gwheezie said in an earlier thread: "Obama was the best president in my life time. Even if my 16 hopeful
wins, it won't be the same."

make him a one-term President. Americans knew he was fair and the world liked him. Me, I love him to death, best President after Kennedy!

To be honest, when he leaves office, the world will miss him. Kudos to President Obama, you did well even though you are not my President! I'll miss him!

Obama starts off as more of a worldwide phenomena so I expect him to be involved in big international movements and problems, not just US, probably not in as quiet a way as Carter, with more big fundraising and big splash like Clinton. I do predict that he shortens his name to Obama, and hangs out some with the similarly mononymous Bono.

Eat a lot.
Watch TV.
Surf the net.
Play golf sometimes.

That would be my plan except that I don't golf.

while enjoying the beach, his family and being able to do whatever he wants.

Hard to say after that. I don't see him doing a Jimmy Carter OR a Bill Clinton, but I hope his post-presidential years more resemble President Carter's. If he pulls a Clinton sell-out/cash-in I would be very disappointed.

at the church memorial service after the shooting there, I thought I saw what he will do. He will become involved in bringing people together and pulling people in.

White House spokesman Josh Earnest said Friday that President Obama is not behind the purchase of the Hawaiian estate used by TV sleuth Magnum P.I.

I know, sadly, that he can't be our president anymore. But can't he run as a Senator?
