Boehner tearing up - Why? Because he KNOWS he's a fraud and he sees himself

as a fraud.

He knows damn well that everything the Republican party does these days is in service to the WORST of human desires - greed, violence, vengeance, manipulation, self-glorification, etc….

Boehner is stuck having to maintain and further that evil while the leader of the church is a yard away from him and speaking out against the bulk of GOP's fascist policies.

He KNOWS he is a FRAUD of a human. His tears always show when he is forced to face WHO he has become.

Those raised Catholic (and in Ohio, to boot) totally get it.

I'd cry constantly like Boehner, too, if I had chosen his path.

Perhaps, like Ebeneezer Scrooge, seeing his life flash before his eyes woke him up to what he can do before it's too late?...Nah.

I hope we're not looking at a future Speaker Gohmert.

I was an Irish Catholic raised in the deep south of Texas during the mid 50's through early 60's. I like to think of myself as a recovering Catholic today, but perhaps it does explain why I tapped in to Boehner's guilt and understood why he cried so much. I made the video in good partisan fun, now it's not so funny. The little bit of conscience that dwelled in Boehner's soul, probably protected us to a degree. I shutter to think that smidgen of decency could soon be replaced with one of the crazy extremists of the party.

On the other hand, it's just over a year before a big election, and if republicans go cuckoo, there could be a huge voter backlash. Ah, one can dream.

in Boehner and recognized it as the guilt I would feel when I was a kid, and sometimes, even to this day, when I felt I made a mistake that hurt others.

I've been an atheist since the 90s, but, I still recognize the good that can be done when challenged by faith.

People in that party are starting to notice that the people at the tables around them all wear their hair the same and their eyes are all too close together.

1) If he had a conscience, he would be a Dem.

2) The weepiness is physiological alcohol-trauma, not ethical/moral conscience.
