I saw my first primary campaign bumper sticker last night.

On my way home from work.

I live in a semi-rural, semi-agricultural area with some smaller towns and one "big" city, population about 76,000, 15-20 miles to the south. It's as white as it gets; the whitest place I've ever seen or lived.

That city is probably the bluest in our red region, and this region DID deliver votes for Obama in '08.

I haven't seen any signs, stickers, etc. in the area yet, until last night.

A sticker for Carson.

I have to say, I was expecting Trump to be big locally. Carson???

several weeks ago. Chapel Hill/Carrboro/Durham are among the most progressive/liberal areas of NC.
I was quite surprised to see it.

I see lots of Bernie bumper stickers.

I have seen a Dump Trump bumper sticker.

just as I never share my political views with my students; at work, I'm neutral, and they know my car.

There's an energetic Bernie group working in that "city" to the south, and I communicate with them, but this is the first I've seen in my area. I expect now I've seen one, I'll notice more.

I hope they aren't ALL for Republicans, lol.

sure at all which would consider a run. Right now, we're focusing on getting Feingold back to his rightful position. That's invigorating, at least. Having he and Baldwin together in the House will be great.

Funny...before the primary candidates announced, I was hoping Feingold would be one of them.

I noticed just three Walker yard signs once I got past Appleton. Surprised to see so few with plenty still around in the WOW counties.

Although, I had a massive argument with a little fucker who was running in the primary for 99th Assembly several weeks ago. He kept putting his signs in my yard without permission. I threw the first away. The second time, I left him a message on the phone and posted on his Facebook page to knock it off. He didn't return call and blocked me from his Facebook page. The third time, I used my troll Facebook account and blasted him repeatedly on his page and sent him an email. He lost magnificently.

Jerk.

It gets tiresome, being around all the ignorance in my county.

Funny story: There's a cute little brick house on a road I drive to get anywhere from out in the boonies. Has a white picket fence, yard done up really nice, and a few years ago they did a rustic white paint job on the brick. It looks really nice. During the two Bush election years, they had their sign right out front, near the road. Well, okay. Cute house. Stupid owners.

When McCain ran, for the longest time I couldn't figure out why they didn't have the usual big sign out front. Then one day, I happened to look over the fence at just the right time, and boom. Yard sign. Tucked right up next to the fence. Inside. If you blinked, you missed it. If you were in a regular car, you missed it.

Cute house. Really stupid owners.
