till after the Pope had left.
But now, instead of the networks covering Pope Francis's appearances in New York, including an analysis of his address to the UN, they've shifted all their attention to Boehner.
Boehner is a Catholic who supposedly has been terribly moved by the Pope's visit. Sure he has.

(58,785 posts)emotional man like him was influenced what likely truly was an uplifting experience for him. He is a Catholic after all and the one who invited the Pope to address Congress. He said he woke up this morning and thought, "This is the day I'm going to do this."
Whatever. Talking heads say someone more conservative than him is likely to take his place, Kevin McCarthy of California. That libertarian wingnut Paul Ryan turned it down, so thank goodness for that.
