John's "Come to Jesus" moment...

There he was standing behind the Pope beside Joe Biden. Then the Pope began to talk about the "Golden Rule" and John started looking for his hanky... "cause he knew there was more to come.

And John was thinking, "I'm standing behind the Holy Father", because he is a Catholic...

And John felt tons of guilt from his association with a Party with such disregard for the lesser of our society.

And he began sobbing. He could not stop. I thought he was gonna wring that hanky out as if it were a dishrag...

Then the Pope asked John to pray for him. He wanted John Boehner to pray for Pope Francis!

It was more than John could stand.

He had a talk with Jesus.

And Jesus said, "Git the hell out of there!"

When I saw his tears flowing and the tortured expression as the Pope nailed him to the cross, I knew it was guilt. Boner has been the shepherd of the rich, greedy and prejudiced of this country for far too long. It's going to take more than a bottle of Merlot and a few Hail Marys to get that beast off of his back. His torment springs from the fact that he knew he was wrong the entire time, but the love of money and power ruled his day.
