Racist endorses black man

Came across an article on huffpost about Ben Carson saying confederate flags at NASCAR are fine with him, that particular insanity aside, buried in the article was a person in NC making this little statement:

"She also suggested there were white southerners who probably wouldn't support Carson because of his race.
"As much as people try to sound like they don't care, some people think a black president will look out for the black lifestyle,"

What the hell does that mean? I know what it means but I find the cognitive dissonance repugs display to be a wonder to behold. The bigotry, sexism and ignorance is so easy that it can make you do a double-take as if you caught something out of the corner of you're eye and didn't see it actually happen.

And now, they make this new one up that makes even less sense. I have no clue. If you find out, will you tell me?

Do these people not realize that black people and gay people (they have used the phrase gay lifestyle for ages now, but never explained exactly what that is either) live in the same towns with them and shop at the same grocery stores, pay bills, and do everything else the same? is wrong with these people? Their brains are not functioning at even an elementary school level. How is that possible?

How does that work? Maybe "the black lifestyle" is sorta like the "gay lifestyle"; people can decide to be black or gay on Monday and then switch on Wednesday? Does "the black lifestyle" come with all the usual stereotypes like a lust for white women and fried chicken, tap-dancing skills and a fondness for saggy pants?

How would a black president go about legislating that stuff? I wonder if a white president is supposed to only look out for the "white lifestyle"; does that come with an Elvis costume?
