...controlling spineless (and also sociopathic) legislative bodies, there's little reason to expect anything to get done.
Deep down, the pro gun side has made its choice: guns matter more to them -- since they are key to how their self-images are organized -- than other human lives.
So there's little reason to expect much to change, in a society as sick as ours
