Columbia and Charleston are getting the national press but (added video of rural SC flooding)

Last edited Tue Oct 6, 2015, 02:22 AM - Edit history (1)

I have gotten messages from cousins out in the country. Major problems as the rivers and swampy areas rise. Many people have been evacuated. A lot of these are poorer people who didn't have much to begin with.
In an area near my brother, deer were seen shoulder deep in water. The rivers have to crest too.

Watch the 1st video posted here. This is a drive thru rural SC near my relatives:

I have a friend in Orangeburg who said a few caskets have gone top-side. Another friend of friend took a picture of the main drag in Myrtle Beach, and a shark was swimming up the street! Hugo was not this bad, though there was a bit of flooding.
