The Burger King Green Poop Story Is about to Break

in the mainstream media. Yesterday, it was a hot story on alternative news media and, as is typical, it has taken about 24 hours for mainstream media to notice that there's a cool story that will sell erectile disfunction medications and car insurance from Progressive. Expect this to be the teaser on the national and local TV news this evening.

Once that happens, Burger King will announce that they are ceasing sales of their Halloween Whopper, no doubt.

All of the interesting stories seem to break on internet media these days.

the green dye used in the black coloring for the bun survives the digestive tract and gives your poop a nice space-alien green color. This has caused considerable surprise and consternation among loyal Burger King fans. Trips to the ER are involved, along with extreme anxiety and hypochondria.

It's a huge, smelly story, and will allow mainstream media to use the word "poop." They'll be overjoyed.

Posting photos of bodily function products are against the DU TOS.

However, the green effect is completely harmless, so if you want to indulge in a Black-Bun Whopper, feel free to experiment. You can report back on the exact color tomorrow. But, act quickly. BK will be pulling those buns very soon, if they have not already done so.

As for myself, I do not feel the need for a Whopper today, and won't have time. I'm installing a dog door in my kitchen wall this morning so the dogs can go in and out to our fenced backyard to deposit their blessings on the grass. My wife is ecstatic, since taking the dogs out is her job, by choice. When the MN weather is below zero, she has discovered that it is not a job to relish.

So, despite my reluctance, I am cutting an opening through the wall and installing a dog flap. I approach this job with some considerable trepidation, and I don't need a green poop incident to add to my anxiety about such a task.

I'm assuming you have a fenced yard.

My beagle/shepherd cross enjoys using the flap to run out into his pen to bark for 10 minutes each night.

I had to go through a wall, first. Drywall on the inside, vinyl siding on the outside. Then, I had to build a raised outdoor platform and a set of steps for the dogs, so they have a stable, dry place to step out and get down to ground level. The inside floor of our house on the back wall is 24" above the grade.

Three hours seems about right, really. It all looks great. I still have to caulk the outside trim, but that's no big deal. I'll use expanding foam to handle the contours of the siding.

And yes, the back yard is fully fenced, but there's no door on the back of the house, hence the need for the dog flap.

Tue Oct 6, 2015, 03:20 PM
Oct 2015

OK, technically 'stern', not 'rear':

In naval architecture, a poop deck is a deck that forms the roof of a cabin built in the rear, or "aft", part of the superstructure of a ship.

The name originates from the French word for stern, la poupe, from Latin puppis. Thus the poop deck is technically a stern deck, which in sailing ships was usually elevated as the roof of the stern or "after" cabin, also known as the "poop cabin". In sailing ships, with the helmsman at the stern, an elevated position was ideal for both navigation and observation of the crew and sails.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poop_deck

Puppis /ˈpʌpɨs/ is a constellation in the southern sky. Puppis, the Poop Deck, was originally part of an over-large constellation, the ship of "Jason and the Argonauts", Argo Navis, which centuries after its initial description, was divided into three parts, the other two being Carina (the keel and hull), and Vela (the sails of the ship). Puppis is the largest of the three constellations in square degrees. It is one of the 88 modern constellations recognized by the International Astronomical Union.
