Wayyyyy back in my more frisky days I heard this song from Megadeth that I really liked called 'Countdown to Extinction'. It was about this kind of thing and it was really memorable (and I was impressionable, that never hurts!). However, I didn't (at the time) believe such a thing actually existed, either. Who would do such a thing?!

Sometimes I wish I could go back to time when I didn't think things like this happened. I can only press on hoping that perhaps, thanks to my actions and the actions of a few million of my closest friends that I'll never meet, one day a person can grow up and not have to find out canned hunts exist.

And yet we can't even get it banned in half the US, let alone all of it (!).

EDIT: The song is very, very anti this kind of hunt. While this should be obvious, one never knows for certain. Check it out on YouTube, it's lyrically powerful imo.
