Anyone watch Bill Maher last night on Real Time?

Do you think he was mean when he told conservative blogger Andrew Sullivan, " enough about your mother."

They were talking about big pharmaceutical companies and he went to say his mother suffers from depression and uses anti depressants, then Maher said, "ok enough about your mother"

Well, yeah he was being obnoxious. SummerSnow Oct 2015 #2
It is a comedy show. Sullivan was very Republican dogmatic. When Maher gave in a bit on issues, applegrove Oct 2015 #4

Sullivan was adamant big Pharma was totally innocent regarding marketing prescription drugs for kids. His libertarian side was coming out. It went on and on. Someone has to 'chair' the show. I saw it as a bit of comedy with a message that Sullivan purposely chose to turn into an attack on his mother.

I didn't think it was rude. The guy was bogarding every conversation. The other guests
couldn't even get a full sentence in. There was no discussion allowed on any subject. Bill
Maher was finally getting frustrated.

Were I there, I'd have told him to lay off the sauce before a public appearance.

on the Hillary hate (and I'm not even a Hillary supporter) spewing from Sullivan.

Sullivan kept going on and on about what a "mediocrity" Hillary was...and I would have LOVED
a line from Bill like "oh, really? The clown car of Republicans taken all together couldn't
begin to compare with Hillary's achievements. That's mediocrity."

I think that was very rude of Maher and I've seen him be rude before. What I have not seen is anyone standing up to him and I don't understand that. If it had been me, I may not have been invited back. I still like his show, though and agree with him most of the time.
