My cousin passed away late in the evening last night.

My cousin lost her battle with cancer last night. Courageously, she fought this rotten disease for some time, but it keep getting worse, to the point were there was nothing they could do. It makes you stop and think about how much life means and how petty things are so over blown. I would asked everyone on DU to hug your love ones and reconnect with those who you may not talked to in awhile. I wish I was able to be in touch with my cousin, but over time we drifted a part. I guess that time I say her was about 10 ago and that was way to long, because she was ill for about 1 1/2 years. I will never be able to make that time. Just thought she would be fine and the last 3 months she start to get sicker and did not to see anyone. I may offend someone, I will say a prayer for all my DU friends and yes that includes you, that no one has to go what she went thru. I am taking a few days off and will return soon. God bless you all on DU and good night.

They didn't speak to each other for 30 years about an argument over $300.

is to reconnect with someone I cared about and let time get in the way.

Don't let anything stop you from calling a friend or relative.

I wish you peace for yourself and your cousin's family.

There should never be an offense when a prayer is said in peace.

Please be well, I hate cancer and have focused my life on finding treatments and cures for those afflicted by it.

I agree with your realization: reconnect.

Lost my younger brother to pan can over five years ago now.

Cancer sucks.
