Anti-abortion lawyer to speak in Omaha about Planned Parenthood videos

A lawyer helping to defend videos that sparked new controversy in the U.S. abortion debate will discuss them during a talk in Omaha this week.
Thomas Brejcha, president and chief counsel for the Chicago-based Thomas More Society, said his Saturday talk at the Christ the King Catholic Church parish center will highlight issues surrounding the videos.
The videos were released this summer by anti-abortion activists. They show Planned Parenthood officials talking about how they sometimes harvest tissue from aborted fetuses for medical researchers. Abortion foes allege that Planned Parenthood illegally sells the tissue for profit.
Planned Parenthood says it has acted legally and that the videos were deceitfully edited.
