Why Did Anne Frank Hide Like A Coward Instead Of Killing Nazis Dead Like A Real Man?

[img][/img]

Last week, Dr. Ben Carson — alleged educated person, supposedly in possession of a functioning brain — offered his innovative Hot Tips For How To Survive A Holocaust. First, man up with a military-grade arsenal so that when the Nazis come to genocide you, you can scream “Die, Nazi scum!” and pew-pew-pew them to death, take THAT, Hitler. If that fails, you can suggest to the entire Waffen-SS, as Carson claims to have done when he was held up at gunpoint in a Popeye’s “organization” one time, “Pardon me, Mr. Nazi, but I believe you’re looking for someone else to holocaust. Try that guy over there.” See? It’s almost too easy. If only all those dumb defeatocrat Jewishes had known what any common neurosurgeon understands, we could have avoided that whole unpleasant genocide, and today’s Republicans would have to come up with an entirely different analogy for describing taxes, Obamacare, marriage equality, and abortion. Oh well. Hindsight and all.

And speaking of hindsight: Granted, hindsight is 20/20. But it turns out it was a bad idea for any Jew to have turned over a gun. It was a bad idea for any Jew to have boarded a train. It was a bad idea for any Jew to have passed through a gate into a camp. It was a bad idea for any Jew to do any work at any such camp. It was a bad idea for any Jew to not attempt to crush the skull or scratch out the eyes of any Nazi who turned his back for one moment. And every bullet that would have been fired into a Nazi coming to a doorway to confiscate a gun from a Jew would have been a sacred bullet.

That Carsonesque 20/20 insight — if only Jews had refused to cooperate and just stand there letting themselves be Holocausted like that — comes from the shart-stenched “brain” of Fox News psychiatrist and (total coincidence!) Carson supporter and fundraiser Dr. Keith Ablow, in a column titled “Why Ben Carson is right about Jews, the Holocaust and guns.”

4. It makes sense a republican doctor would worship the culture of death.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if he admires some traits of the Nazi party. He sure does like to talk about them, a LOT. A doctor in love with the idea of mass murder. And Nazis...gee...the connection there is ghastly.

Just look at all the mayhem he caused! Of course this was fiction and not reality but why let that stand in the way of Carson's rant?

Is it just me or does anyone else note the appropriateness of someone named "Ablow" being a Carson supporter?

8. Hindsight is 20/20, but the point that a civilian government requires cooperation

from citizens in order to achieve their objectives is a valid point. If they had known that getting on the trains was suicide, then duh, they would have resisted, but obviously, they did not.

I toured Auschwitz, actually, and the tour guide explained that Jews were told that they were being relocated for their benefit, and that most Jews believed that was true. It was a lie, as we all know.

Separately, using Naziism and its crimes as the example to make such a point is a bad idea. But Carson, being an idiot, doesn't realize that, I guess, or doesn't care.

simply could not believe such profound evil could be true. This was after years of having their rights canceled and property confiscated, also.

Dr. Carson is typical of many. You could tell him that Jews were about 1% of all Germans, and that the Germans whose cooperation was so despicable caused 4 million deaths were white Christians, but he'd only believe it if he chose. (NOT!) Just as many Americans who worry about a Jewish takeover imagine they're as many as 30%, or more, of all Americans. Don't bother trying to set them straight, though. 3-4% does not fit into the frame of what they "know."

When my husband was born in 1940, he still had relatives in Europe, although others were probably already murdered. By the time he entered kindergarten, they were all dead. Not because they were stupid, because they didn't understand the capacity for evil present in, above all other personality groups, social conservatives.

Dr. Carson is a social conservative.

It was Gestapo HQ during the war. In return, after the war, the people of our town turned it into an elementary school and named "Die Anne-Frank-Schule."
