One hide and you are kicked out of hosting for 90 days. MIRT has no such rule. I would think their standards would be higher.

do so with Hosts. It is interesting, comparing the requirements. It could be the difference of tasks of each, between being able to ban a newbie and locking an OP.


MIRT requirements
If you are a DU member with at least six months of membership, at least 1,000 posts, and proof of identity (ie. you are a Star member) then you can apply to be a member of the MIR Team. (Please note that if your Transparency page is displayed, you are disqualified from serving on the MIR Team.)
Then be chosen by Admin from the list of volunteers

Host requirements
Q. Who is eligible to serve as a forum Host?

A. You are eligible to serve as a Forum Host if you have a 100% chance of serving on a Jury. This means that you must:

Have posted more than 2,000 times
Have 200 or more days of membership
Have posted more than 20 times in the last 90 days
Have had zero hidden posts in the last 90 days
Be a Star Member

No Admin input.
