There's also a Pirate Party, a Rhino Party, a Communist Party, a Marxist-Leninist Party, an Animal Alliance Party (which is new to me, most likely only in a few ridings in BC)...likely even more in different ridings/different parts of the country.

They'll be a few Greens in there, I'm sure, in BC. Elizabeth May will win her seat, perhaps Jo Ann Roberts in Victoria.

Curious as to how Wyatt Scott will do. lol

Tories can't take them all in a climate like this. How many liberal seats won out west would be considered a blow to the conservatives?

- Liberals elected in 28 ridings and leading in 5. They have 61.0% of the popular vote counted so far.
- NDP leading in 0 ridings.
- Conservatives leading in 0 ridings.
- Greens leading or elected in 0 ridings.

From CBC News

And it's my understanding that they only won 35 seats total in the prior election. Wow.

When Harper wakes up tomorrow, Nenshi will be his mayor, Notley will be his Premier, and Trudeau will be his Prime Minister.

(clarification for Americans who don't recognize these names...Naheed Nenshi is the extremely progressive Muslim mayor of Calgary; Rachel Notley is the NDP Premier of Alberta; and of course, tonight's winner, Justin Trudeau).
