The fact you aren't doing okay and your angry as hell about not doing okay doesn't seem to matter just so long as you can feel superior to brand X.

Democrats tend to want to make peoples lives better. Republicans just want to feel like their life IS better, no matter if it is or isn't. The results on the conservative end would be rather comical if only they didn't hurt us all in the process.

But they have always voted republican and were brainwashed into believing the Democratic Party are losers who give away their hard earned money. One came into work on Monday, got laid off and found out a week later they hired someone at half her pay for her job. She defended the employer saying it was her right for the boss to maintain the bosses salary. Another got hurt at work, couldn't work and ended up losing his rental but still blamed the Democrats in his state for the 2008 crash that cut off disability in their state! Even though it was a republican controlled state!

Militant preppers are big on guns and defending their own property with weapons once shtf. They don't give a damn about people in need. It's all about themself. They see other people that they don't know as the enemy.

Republicans only care about their own selves and have little ability to care about people they don't know, especially if there's no other incentive to help them (now, if they get praised as a hero, thats a different story.)

Republicans don't want equality in this world. And American protestantism and capitalism gives them excuses to not give a shit about others, whether it is that the poor are "eternally damned by God" or the poor are "shiftless lazy bums" that are "losers" in the game of money that American capitalism has basically made money out to be.

Los Angeles was a Republican stronghold until the Aerospace industry there collapsed. Aerospace of course employed lots of people who didn't give a damn shit about killing other people in other countries. Many of them left Los Angeles and headed to other western states.

Republican people are often nasty people on the insides, no matter how nice they appear on the outside.

Now, this is not to say that all liberals are much better, as I feel that many liberals are just liberal only in certain things and still have the conservative style nastiness in other things. A lot of rich liberals come to mind.
