In order to win the "war on women" the GOP is engaging in a balkanization political strategy to divide the vote. They are putting nationally known women forward who support their agenda that is against family planning and Planned Parenthood. Many of these well heeled women are touting the benefits of only working in the home and raising a family. They are advertising the benefits of the "Ozzie And Harriet" era where a women is mostly seen but not heard.
At the same time they are demonizing "feminism" as unAmerican and unpatriotic if not evil. The rights of women to seek their own destiny and control their own family is being characterized as selfish.
The question is whether women will fall for their ploy. The GOP is counting on the younger generation not to vote and they are quietly building barriers to that vote. . And they are counting on older more conservative women to convince their peers that women must depend on a man and be willing to listen to the husband as ordained in the bible. It is the American way.
