For anybody who has the mistaken idea Paul Ryan is a pragmatic

(I think we all know he is not a moderate).

Note : my point is about the immediate damages he can create, as this idiot voted NO to absolutely necessary measures in the past. It is not about his intellectual abilities, but his absolute lack of empathy.

Paul Ryan voted NO to the three last votes that would have raised the debt ceiling

Here are a few votes since 2011, where the GOP took the House

http://www.politico.com/story/2011/08/full-house-roll-call-060453?o=0

He also voted against funds for Sandy

Knowing that one of the first votes he will likely have to take as speaker is to raise the ceiling (and do it in less than a week), this should frighten all of us terribly.

He won't be the guy that solves Republican dysfunction and correct their assholish ways.

5. Actually, my point is that he is part of them. His vote record shows that.

So, there is no way he can correct a problem he is part of.

He has somehow bamboozled the media in thinking of him as a thoughtful and responsible guy, which is he is not. But what frightens me is the mess he can create as speaker, starting by not renewing the debt ceiling.

6. Yeah, I don't get how the press can think of him as a policy wonk. The pages of his plans are empty

Is there really that much of a intellectual void in today's GOP? Where did the Richard Lugars go?

Unlike the shrieking monkeys of the Free-dumb Causus. Exhibit A: See Jim Jordan at yesterday's Benghazi hearing.

I'm Paraphrasing Reid's "damning him with faint praise" statement. And needlessly slandering monkeys.

yep, Ryan's an empty headed tool extremist nonetheless. The truth will come out, and he's gonna rue the day he takes this job.

7. That Ryan is no longer "conservative" enough for RW media pretty much says that they are crazy

nut bags and that the Republican party needs to divorce itself from Fox News and Hate radio. But it can't because there is no Republican party anymore. Without them the sheeple might not vote GOP even if there really is no GOP to vote for. There are just a loose collection of egomaniacs picking at each other with rusty hooks to scrape off the dead carrion of the economy. There's nothing even remotely interesting about this party yet people do vote for them. It seems amazing.

when he called Ryan "the zombie-eyed granny starver."

No way to top that in pithiness or accuracy.

And i think the others like him because he does not come of in the same way in public so can't make them look as bad as people like gohmert gowdy and others.

Remember that one reaSon Romney picked him was he needed to make the republican base happy.
