Howard Dean made my Morning Joe Show this morning ...

Joe was doing his usual, "When I was in Congress, I would just ..." routine, and he said, {something to the effect of} When I was in Congress and a constituent called for help with the IRS, I would just tell them, 'this investigation has been going on for 4 years, either arrest him or get the hell off his farm'!"

And Dean, looked at him and said, "Erm ... not with the IRS."

And, Joe backed up and said, "Well ... I'd tell the constituent, we'll look into it and see what's taking so long?"

That second statement is significantly different!

3. Spouting nonsense in front of Howard is a perilous undertaking

He is extremely knowledgeable in many areas and will correct you within 5 seconds if you "get something wrong," whether by accident or if you're trying to get away with total BS.

Even though he has expressed his strong view that a presidential candidate shouldn't be as old as he is now, he is still my wish candidate for president. I know it isn't going to happen, and he has told me so to my face, but I can still dream. It is also why I remain undecided so far. I know who he supports, but I don't have to follow his every lead. His brother, Jim, supports Bernie, and Howard totally respects that, too.

4. Wasn't Dean

Wasn't Dean the guy who had the massive flame-out that caused Goose's death, the loss of the plane and led to Maverick's lack of courage when Iceman needed his help?

This is the guy people should be afraid of spouting nonsense in front of?

I just yawn when he pulls this stuff, esp. so early in the campaign.

My response to him is "Dude, it's way too early in the political season to get wrapped around the axle about the election. It will be what it will be..."
