Whenever I purchase a new toner for my B&W laser printer, a UPS label is included, to ship back the used toner.
Not this time.
Going to their website and clicking on contact us left the searching ball going and going.
So I called them, long distance, and had to wait until someone called me.
Yes, she said, you can print a shipping label from the site. OK, but before, I had to create an account, with name, address, phone number and a password that with millions conditions.
So screw you.
I will take the toner to the country recycler - if they will take it - or throw in the trash.
On second thought, I wonder whether I can just create a dummy address etc.

We still use a wheezy Lexmark C540n that has toners costing more than its printer value albeit very rare, We just use a 10 year old B&W Canon laser that has had its toner changed only twice in its lifetime.
question everything
(47,537 posts)try emailing and sending and calling "me" as long as they want.
Had to struggle with the password - apparently did not meet their specifications but finally got it.

(34,138 posts)For empty toner and ink cartridges. For instance, Office Depot Rewards members get points for up to 10 cartridges a month and can get a check when they accumulate enough points.
One month when I printed ten books I got $60 back for the hundreds of dollars I spent on ink and paper. I also got the satisfaction of knowing that the cartridges would be recycled without the hassles of packaging and shipping them. I keep a box for my empty cartridges and whenever I go to Office Depot for a purchase, I drop off the ones I have put aside.

(2,061 posts)As I am environmentally conscious, I put my used (and new) toners in the same pyre I use to dispose of used tires.

question everything
(47,537 posts)so I called the corporate office at 908 and from there I was given this number. Did not realize that 877 is a toll free...
Having a working Contact Us link would have worked.
Still got my label while "opening" a dummy account.

(6,568 posts)We used up 800, so 888, 877, and 866 are also toll free.
I didn't go to their contact us page, however. I just googled Brother International.
And I mostly use dummy accounts for companies that make me register with them as well. Had to do this recently for a driver download to test a piece of equipment for a buddy. Kinda pissed me off that there was no direct link without logging in.
