Dump Trump or we dump SNL

Dear Lorne Michaels and Saturday Night Live,

We urge you to dump Trump as the November 7th host of Saturday Night Live!

NBC did the right thing in June when they severed ties with Trump over his hate speech about Mexican immigrants.

Donald Trump is a bully who walks around spewing hate speech that has very real consequences on Latinos. You should not give him the platform and celebrate him on national TV.

Don’t let Trump on SNL.

Hate speech and its consequences are no laughing matter.

I will not watch shows or networks that promote hate speech to increase their ratings.

Donald trump is relevent right now. I dont see a problem with him on SNL.

Plus petitions are usually good advertisement for shows. If this got traction SNL would like to publicity.

If 40 people sign it most of which never watch SNL anyway, they I doubt they will care

and there are at least 5 other petitions, that I have seen, for the same thing. Many are being circulated in the latino community. I wish them luck.

If you don't have a Nielsen box and the networks know who they are then they don't care. That's the bottom line. About 38,000 make our viewing decisions.

18-49 year old ratings count. Remember Harry's law? They had 10 million viewers which is a lot, but it was cancelled because the 18-49 numbers were awful and advertisers care only for those numbers.
