So then I'm right about being wrong.

As far as they are concerned we get up when they are hungry. I do not expect to get any more sleep than usual tonight.

Or rather we just keep food in her bowl and she eats whenever she chooses to. Once in a while she'll come up and tell us her bowl is empty, or that she wants fresh water. She a bit of a water freak. She licks the shower door. After it rains, she'll lick the sliding doors out on our deck.

But they want me to wake up and pay attention to them and give them the canned food they like. It's not that they are hungry; it's that they want me to give them some food they like, and pay attention to them.

She really doesn't like cat treats or canned cat food. She does want to lick the ice cream bowls however.

We have to keep our bedroom door closed at night. I don't like to be awakened at 3am with the cat kneading my throat.

If I were king Daylight would be the standard and probably the only time though I'd seriously consider bumping yet another hour or two as the new daylight savings.

All the daylight time being while I'm at work or just a little dabble of the glare time for the trip in is not good for the soul.
