The Country Feels Like A Slowly Sinking Ship In So Many Ways.

As I watch our political discourse or lack of it the country feels like a slowly sinking ship. There are so many issues to be addressed that look like they are getting worse while nothing is done. We can be sure that with GOP dominance in key areas that nothing will be done or they will find a way to make matters worse.

The most disturbing thing about the country is how these shootings are becoming so routine. The shootings in public areas during the day like Colorado Springs makes you wonder if you can be out anywhere before some gun nut goes off. And the trend in the country pushing open carry of any weapon is so insane. Do we need to look like some other countries where just about everyone is carrying an assault rifle.
