sorry, once again but no art essays til further notice...

I'll try to learn how to use either imgur or photobucket because I keep crashing my computer on tinypic.

Trying to figure out imgur. Maybe I'll check photobucket to see if it's a bit more user friendly to the tech impaired.

Also, other problems continue on my computer so another call to my friendly tech guy. Now we can't print.

2. I'll pm you if I need some guidance, if that's OK with you...

I tried to establish an account but it wouldn't recognize any passwords I was trying to enter and I followed their instructions about number of characters and a mix of numbers and letters, etc.

I've never had such a merry chase in pursuit of a simple goal than this...stupid...

3. Why can't you just search for the images with google

then post them using "img /img" with the square brackets. [][]

for instance;

a folder in my Pictures file. IOW, it's segregated according to subject in its own file.

P.S. I love the doors of the Baptistry...thanks for posting that, what beauty...what would we do without you, edhopper?

You like to download them first.

You could "save image as" for most online pics.

Or are you saying you have your own online folder to post from.

10. No, not an online folder. And yes, I use "save image as" and tinypic goes to MyPictures

file, I upload to the My Pictures folder I have named for each essay, then I used the code it provides for online use, shade and paste it into the body of my (as yet) unpublished post. I then preview it to make sure I have the right pics in the right places and no duplicates. If OK I then go ahead and post it. It's just a bit complicated but it works well here on DU, particularly with the preview feature.

Having individual picture files for each essay is just easier for me. However, this is now getting to be a real problem with my PC and I'm calling the tech guy (as soon as he rolls out of bed and into his shop which can be iffy). That we can't print from our printer (that is only a few months old) is ridiculous.

I can't even figure out how to change the clock in my new car (yes, I read the manual which was unhelpful). I'm totally stressed out today, but you are so nice to care...

It's easy and intuitive; and it works for me.

I can't imagine any reason why it might crash your computer... Give it a try.
