I'll try to learn how to use either imgur or photobucket because I keep crashing my computer on tinypic.
Trying to figure out imgur. Maybe I'll check photobucket to see if it's a bit more user friendly to the tech impaired.
Also, other problems continue on my computer so another call to my friendly tech guy. Now we can't print.

(63,912 posts)I tried to establish an account but it wouldn't recognize any passwords I was trying to enter and I followed their instructions about number of characters and a mix of numbers and letters, etc.
I've never had such a merry chase in pursuit of a simple goal than this...stupid...

P.S. I love the doors of the Baptistry...thanks for posting that, what beauty...what would we do without you, edhopper?
You like to download them first.
You could "save image as" for most online pics.
Or are you saying you have your own online folder to post from.

(63,912 posts)file, I upload to the My Pictures folder I have named for each essay, then I used the code it provides for online use, shade and paste it into the body of my (as yet) unpublished post. I then preview it to make sure I have the right pics in the right places and no duplicates. If OK I then go ahead and post it. It's just a bit complicated but it works well here on DU, particularly with the preview feature.
Having individual picture files for each essay is just easier for me. However, this is now getting to be a real problem with my PC and I'm calling the tech guy (as soon as he rolls out of bed and into his shop which can be iffy). That we can't print from our printer (that is only a few months old) is ridiculous.

Maybe you should try Windows 10.

I can't imagine any reason why it might crash your computer... Give it a try.
