NASA to unveil discoveries about atmosphere on Mars
http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation-now/2015/11/04/nasa-unveil-discoveries-mars-atmosphere/75155008/NASA says it will reveal "key science findings" about the fate of Mars' atmosphere on Thursday during a press conference at its Washington, D.C. headquarters.
The event will be broadcast live at 2 p.m. E.T. on Nov. 5. If the announcement is anything like the others we've seen this year, it's sure to live up the hype.
It's likely the news will have to do with the Mars Atmosphere and Volatile Evolution (MAVEN) spacecraft since the speakers include several scientists who are involved with the spacecraft, which has been orbiting the red planet for the past year.
With few details offered, it is possible the announcement will impact NASA's quest to send a manned mission to Mars by the 2030s.
