The above is the central claim by Politico. The problem is that they don't explain where "according to Carsons telling" comes from. They later quote his book, but his book doesn't make the claim.
IOW - before I fall for this, I'd like to know where Carson claimed that he received a "full scholarship".

- I've seen no actual admission from the Carson camp that he lied
- the book only makes the claim that he was offered a scholarship - not that he actually applied
IMO - this has all the markings of another dubious "sexual assault" story...
