Carson Cruz Rubio Trump

Those are in alphabetical order

If you watch the debate tonight or if you just care, one of those four is going to be the nominee for President of the United States of America representing one of the two major political parties.

This isn't meant to stir up discussion of which of ours came beat one of them. Just stop and think about that for a minute. At least one of those four individuals will be on a major party national ticket.

Good night.

Carson is, I think, in many ways a good man (that is me being kind). He's also a total lunatic with absolutely no idea what he's doing.

Trump is a racist blowhard and so full of himself that he's hardly aware that other people exist.

Cruz scares the hell out of me. There is only emptiness behind those eyes. I had the same visceral reaction to Bush, but it's worse with Cruz.

Rubio is as bland as they come. I think he's got a shot at the GOP nomination, but he's pretty green. I have not studied his positions in any detail, but since there's virtually nothing in the GOP platform I agree with, I assume there's nothing that I would agree with him on. Of the four, he may or may nor be the last frightening option. Which is not saying much.

The idea of any of them within 10 feet of the Oval Office is pretty scary.

He may well be an absolute exemplar of psychopathy/sociopathy. Habitual liar or maybe he believes in his hallucinogenic delusions - that's hard to determine, delusions of grandeur/megalomania, and IMO one of the most genuinely dangerous people I have ever seen in American politics.

Trump is an evil Fred Flintstone with a dead weasel on his head and Carson is certifiably batshit insane, too much so even to be elected to any office short of dog-catcher in a two-dog town here in the modern US of Teh Dumb.

Rubio may be bland enough to make it.

It seems we agree in our general assessment of these guys.

And you're right, Cruz appears to be one of the most dangerous people to ever appear in US politics. I know someone who knows him from college, where he was apparently a brilliant debater. Brilliance debating skills coupled with sociopathy = danger.
