Their problem is that when you use fear to motivate voters, they are more likely to vote for who they think can "keep them safe".

Looking at the current crop of GOP clowns - I mean "candidates" - there isn't anyone among them that inspires confidence that they can tie their own shoelaces, much less handle a terrorist crisis.

I know Republican voters can be dumb - but even they won't be looking at Ted Cruz or Rick Santorum and thinking, "Hey, here's THE guy who can keep the country safe!"

Rubio. He has the Orwellian speaking style down.

Repugs will send in harm's way without a moment's hesitation - knowing their kids aren't among them.

People tend to have the attention span of a gnat....by next week everyone will be in an uproar over something different.
