Woohoo! Will be picking up David Talbot's "The Devil's Chessboard"

at the library today. Been waiting to read this one for a while.

Yet further documentary proof, as if more were needed, that lawyer-to-Nazi-sympathizers and Nazi sympathizer Allen Dulles was directly responsible for turning the US into the plutocratic, fascist country it is today. Though Talbot takes the explanation of the consequences further than anyone else has.

Kind of paralleling what happened to the U.S., in general!

DU has always forbidden critical thinking and promoted only mainstream history and politics.j
It's the reason I avoided it.

Regardless, I'm happy to see that people are reading Talbot's excellent new book, which is up there with "JFK and the Unspeakable."

Great avatar Villager.
That crazy ol' Curtis LeMay/General Ripper sure hated President Kennedy for refusing to nuke Russia.

He was the one that first told me about this place, in the early 00's. Non-mainstream thought was actually permitted 'round these parts, back then...
