(706 posts)So you getting into cookies isn't a bad thing. In fact those cookies look HUGE. Besides it's the holidays I think it's okay if you spoil yourself. I remember when I was a kid I used to peek at my Christmas presents and one year I had gotten Pokemon Blue Version and Zelda: Majora's Mask. This was the year 2000 so I was only 10 then. Okay sorry I was about to rant there but the holidays remind me of that lol.
You got the Pokemon Blue Version and Zelda: Majora's mask? wow... (envy!) I remember when I got my first set of YUGIOH card packs.. I was like... SUPA KEWL!!
Now I look forward to giving gifts more.. Last year I baked Cookies for my dad who ate so many my Mom told him, if he didn't stop, he would have no room for dinner!! Where have I heard that before??
ZM90
(706 posts)They're my favorite type of monster . I don't go to tourneys as often anymore though but when I do go they are fun. In fact I think I will go to the regionals in mid-December.
If your dad didn't have room for dinner then your cookies must be really good .

(41,832 posts)I wish many of my high school friends were still around... we used to do Yu gi Oh or do role play games all the time, and yeah..Dad loves my cookies...so, this year I will bake an extra batch and make sure my mom gets hers!
Me and you both . The 90s were awesome at least they were in my nostalgic mind anyway.
Yeah I used to play a lot more back in high school but now that we are young adults but adults nonetheless it is tougher to get people you know together to play like back in the day. Granted most people who play Yu-Gi-Oh! are in their 20s but it's still tougher to get all of your friends together to play.
I love roleplaying games as well. Have you ever played Dragon Age: Origins? That to me is a amazing roleplaying experience as far as video games go.

(41,832 posts)Out of a book, and you had to write out a character sheet, and figure out where to use your points that you earned, from a previous role play. I played a lot of the WhiteWolf: World of Darkness games, ya know...vampire vs Werewolf. I also played Dungeons and Dragons, (was always a Ninja) and we played for hours.
But yeah I do like games.. I am thinking about trying to get a new play station soon...and find some awesome games like Mirror's Edge; catalyst when it comes out in February. There are a few other games I would love to get too.. like the New Tomb Raider game.

(706 posts)My PS4's HDMI won't work and I have tried everything, googled everything. I think I will need to send it in to Sony. I actually never got the chance to try D&D but I know WRPGs like Dragon Age, Neverwinter Nights, and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic have their roots in D&D.
When my PS4 was working I think I enjoyed Grand Theft Auto V and Witcher III: Wild Hunt the most. I find open world games to be really fun, I like the freedom to explore and go where I please.

(41,832 posts)and it was really fun, game called Eternity of Ephrya, from Tynon.com but in the end I found myself spending too much money for silly tokens that never lasted long.
ZM90
(706 posts)Most of them are free to play but to really get things going for you well you have to spend actual money. I very rarely play MMOs due to it I don't like subscription services in my games and I don't like having to pay money to progress. I like to just buy the game then own it. I would rather pay $60.00 up front and be able to play the game forever without being charged after that (unless I want optional DLC of course) rather than have it be free and pay like $0.10 per item for the rest of the time I own the game. I suppose it comes down to the question of if it is worth it to you however.

(41,832 posts)Free Star Trek On Line game...but my laptop couldn't handle it ..meh
My girl friend got the star wars Battlefront, which is why she disappeared this weekend! I know where she is...home, playin this!
