It's shameful that Carson keeps making these stupid statements. The man seems to know nothing about anything but his own narrow area of expertise — brain surgery. And after all these instances of his ignorance have come out, I wouldn't trust him anywhere near me in an operating room.

He needs to bone up on general knowledge or shut up.

Definitely not a quality you want in a presidential candidate. Just look at the results each time we put one of these dillholes in the White House (Reagone and The Failure Fuhrer come to mind).

Crank magnetism is the condition where people become attracted to multiple crank ideas at the same time. You know that saying about not being so open-minded your brain falls out? People with crank magnetism didn't pay attention to that. Its opposite is the stopped clock, where otherwise overly credulous people actually find some crankery that they won't believe in, and may even actively denounce it.
