The government because I can't think for myself and I want a pat on the back from other du members.

The coin thing is real. I remember thinking what kind of loser would buy those...nothing against the president but that is pathetic.

Montel Williams on America's relationship with guns: "Violence is a part of our society"

On Wednesday evening, television and radio host Montel Williams joined Piers Morgan for an engaging and lively discussion on gun control, multiple sclerosis and his upcoming trip to Chile. Williams spoke passionately about how America needs to "get a grip with its current state of depression."

"Because the gun really isn't the problem," said Williams. "The gun is just one avenue."

"I'm a gun owner," the former Marine said. "I was trained by the military. Why would you want to take away my gun? I'm not going to go out and blow somebody up, but why can't we change the way we allow people to buy them?"

Williams said "violence is a part of our society" but he stressed the need to tone down the "rhetoric" that, in his mind, is encouraging "hate, discontent, [and] anger."

It's as if Randy recognizes nuance in this particular case almost as much as you imply denial of it. I do hope you recognize that though... dogmatic intractability often prevents the individual from perceiving nuance.

And just in case...
NUANCE: noun, plural nuances [noo-ahn-siz, nyoo-, noo-ahn-siz, nyoo-; French ny-ahns] (Show IPA)
1. a subtle difference or distinction in expression, meaning, response, etc.
