A Florida man was arrested Saturday after police said he was three times over the legal blood-alcohol limit when he crashed his car with three children inside.
Kenneth Mote, 57, was in an accident at 6:20 p.m. Saturday. Police said he told officers he'd had two beers, the Daytona Beach News-Journal reported. Motes girlfriend told officers that he had been drinking all day and had consumed more than 18 Natural Ice beers.
According to police, officers discovered three children ages 14, 12 and 3 inside Motes wrecked vehicle. When Mote was taken to the police station, he told officers that his Breathalyzer reading was going to blow up (the device) because he had so much to drink. Police said Mote blew 0.204 and 0.206, both of which are more than twice the legal limit of 0.08.
Mote was charged with DUI causing damage to personal property and three counts of child neglect.

(112,456 posts)I suspect that we will be reading about him frequently as we enter the holiday season. He might even visit your neighborhood!
Meanwhile, I hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving.

(112,456 posts)Trumad has been extremely busy writing the latest round of petitions that insult and berate forum hosts for locking his threads. He is combining words associated with the holiday season along with more familiar profanities so that the hosts can get into a festive duck and cover mood for the holidays. Conjugating and using alliterative effect takes a bit more effort than his standard petitions outside the holiday season. I'm already getting that warm and fuzzy feeling waiting to hear from DU's resident Floridian.
Speaking of duck and cover.
Note: In case someone alerts on this thread it is friendly banter and I have a cordial relationship with trumad putting aside his petitions.
