We all have them. Relatives and friends who post conservative/teabagger nonsense.
A 10 second Google search dispels their lies yet they still post it.
Some I'm sure are intentional but others just believe without any checking.

(3,447 posts)...relational web where words/phrases are parsed contextually for similarity, not precision, thus allowing such searches to be reality but (obviously) we aren't there yet. I think that will be a very needed change for the net, and one of the big reasons is what you just said.
And of course, when you're kind enough to spend the time to hunt down the requested proof...there's always some cockamamie reason why it isn't good enough!

the right wing bullshit they filter out all the left wing bulkshit. We use the Internet, most of us most of the time, to confirm what we believe not to test the validity of our beliefs.
