That prison stuff is just one guy in a control room, playing videos.

That's why they do it--it's cheap. They had to call in a whole crew to fire up a breaking news newscast.

They figured if they can't win the slot, or even place or show, why bother?
It turns out that they can beat both CNN and Fox on many weekends by running that crap! And if anything big happens, they call people in and fire it up!

A gunman and an unknown number of hostages remain in a Planned Parenthood facility in western Colorado Springs after an hours-long standoff that began Friday afternoon.

Police have not made “voice contact” with the gunman and are trying to get hostages out of the building, a spokeswoman said at a 4 p.m. Friday press conference.

At least nine people were taken to hospital Friday afternoon, including at least four law enforcement officers, after the man opened fire at a the facility off Centennial Boulevard and Fillmore Street....................
