Republican ads in the heaviest rotation I've ever seen.

Out of Boston, and aimed at New Hampshire:

Mike Huckabee, whining about how he'll never apologize for blah blah America Christian blah blah, boring blah blah--HARUMMMPH.

Jim Gilmore, yammering about how he was governor during 911 and he used to work in Army Intelligence blah blah blah. I was at the Pentagon during that time and I remember him as Car Tax Jim, not Mr. Wonderful When It Came To Fixing That Hole in the Side of The Building. He was pretty much insignificant.

Lindsey Graham, waah waah 33 years (flying a desk in a JAG office, every other weekend, two weeks a year) in the military, ergo, he's best prepared to fight those meanie terrorists, yes sirree Bob!

John Kasich, blah blah governor of Ohio, blah blah zzzzzzz....but he sounds the least stupid of the lot.

I'm not kidding--I'm seeing these ads every half hour, one right after the other over the last several hours on the NBC affiliate. If I focused on them instead of using them as opportunities to get up and do other stuff, I'd easily have them memorized by now. It's fish-or-cut-bait time...if these guys don't move numbers, I'm guessing the RNC says they're going over the side!

OMG!! I have not seen a Jeb! commercial all night....and one just came on!! Blah blah blah Isis blah blah blah DEFEAT IT....blah blah blah Right To Rise paid for this piece of crap. Filmed through a horse blanket and he's wearing a funeral director suit to slim him down!

Is this the equal time the other candidates are getting because Trump got his 12 minutes of air time on SNL?

Huckabee, Kasich, Gilmore, and Graham are each getting dozens of ads paid for by NBC ($5.5 million worth?) because Trump got air time on SNL. I think Rachel Maddow said they were supposed to air Friday and Saturday. I don't think their campaigns are doing well enough to put that much into ads.

Someone had to pay for the actual ads--I doubt NBC produced those hot messes! They should have offered them SNL hosting gigs, instead!!

So you're telling me I have another night of these hideous things to endure?

You're right. The content is all on the candidates. Gilmore said he'd never done an ad before, so I'm sure it's. . . something.

I think I'll spare myself the 'joy' of looking those ads up online, but enjoy your special spectacle.

I couldn't believe how many times I saw those ads--and they weren't broken up, either...you know, GOP ad, ad for a laxative, GOP ad, ad for Viagra, GOP ad, ad for some sleazy credit card place....etc! It was boom-boom-boom-boom! Gaaah!!!!

Are those numbnuts actually wasting money on advertising when none of them has a snowflake's chance in Hell of getting the nomination?

Sad.

They're spending all the money they managed to con, er, raise from hopeful donors, in a final "Throw it up against the wall and see if any of it sticks" move!

Some of them are running for the VP slot (cough Gilmore cough) I suspect. Others are hoping for a cabinet gig. They all think lightning could strike and they could be The One--they are more convinced of this each time they see Jeb! open his mouth and his numbers go down.....

The only one who I think has a reasonable chance in that gaggle is Kasich. Not that he's inspiring, because he's not. Not because he's sensible, because he's not that either--he's got some bonehead wingnut ideas. But mainly because he comes across as Not Batshit Crazy. It's a low bar, but he is the only one who seems able to reach it!

doesn't look like he will ever again.

Maybe he thinks his chances are better in New Hampshire, but it's hard to see how.

It would be great if Huckabee never existed. Absent that option, it would be next-greatest if voters knocked him out of the nomination race early on and we never heard from him again.

even tell that the hunks of metal were once a vehicle--it evokes that kind of stunned reaction. You don't want to look, but you also want to figure it out--what in hell HAPPENED here?

What I can't believe is just how BAD the ads are--these idiots are not getting their money's worth. In terms of production values, Graham and Huckabee are in the "Sucks the worst" category, Gilmore's ad is boring in the middle, Kasich comes in 2nd in visuals/1st in message, and Jeb! comes in 1st in visuals, but easily a lame 3rd (I'm being charitable, probably because the "horse blanket" effect makes him look fresh and youthful) in terms of message. His 'tone' ruins it all, though--he sounds like he's telling Mom that Brother Porgie stole his Playstation, or something. He wants to be tough, but he sounds whiney.

in Iowa, NH and SC.

Rachel did a thing on it last night - said they will be airing back to back to back from 8-11 tonight and tomorrow, and then during SNL. It was an equal time settlement that NBC did with those 4 campaigns to offset the amount of time they gave Trump on SNL the other night.

You have my sympathies!
